I am so happy to be a part of Bridging the gap the Midlife Revolution. As I started blogging I was absolutely sure that I wanted my blog to be my voice for everything positive . My blog is primarily about my personal style and fashion something I have grown up on ! From my early days in school to my college days and then my profession I realized that how a woman dresses up is always this huge talk that the world loves to indulge in ! Hopefully women speaking up and challenging the stereotypes of this misogynistic society will help us leave behind a better world for the younger generation .Though I mostly blog about my passion for dressing up and fashion but I have this huge sense of obligation that I feel I need to address being a woman of today. I detest the assault and discrimination women face today.
Initiated by founder Catherine O’Grace who is also a founder of The Fierce Fifty Revolution ,The Midlife Revolution pairs each midlife blogger with a millennial blogger .When dear friend Karen of WearWithPassion first invited me to be a part of this midlife blogger community I was so thrilled .I am happy to introduce my millennial blogger partner Shazie of TheShazDiaries
When I first started blogging I was pretty sure I did not want to be just a random fashion blog but also establish my blog as a platform for expressing my thoughts on women oriented issues ! My passion and life experiences is what really inspired my blogging journey at Blogtrendz.
When I caught up with Shazie from TheShazDiaries I was so impressed and delighted with her views .There is this great sense of purpose that Shazie has and I instantly connected with her view point . It has been so wonderful to interact with Shazie .When I first spoke to Shazie on Skype there was a lot of love and respect that I felt for this talented and graceful young lady. She is so positive and bright and one can spot that right away .
Shazie was born in Singapore. She is currently pursuing her Masters in Public health.Shazie started blogging after her under grad. She is a lifestyle blogger and she blogs while she is at grad school in Boston. She manages her school assignments and her passion to blog very efficiently . Her blog brings an all rounded perspective about different aspects of lifestyle. She blogs with a sense of purpose and her point of view is unbiased .It is very easy to connect with her as a person through her blog. She is a very unassuming millenial who wants to explore the world and share her experiences through her blog. .
Shazie loves writing and is passionate about sending a positive message to the world. She feels the younger generation has a bigger role to play in the World today. She has this beautiful sense of purpose which is so delightful to see in a millennial today. She through her blog also wants to take up initiatives to help abuse victims and empower women. This truly made me respect her even more.
Shazie is not just a pretty face but a has a beautiful soul too . I was not very surprised to see that she her space was filled with positivity. Even more inspiring was the fact that her own life experiences encouraged her to think beyond her suffering and do something to help others in similar situations. She is so easy to interact with and has such beautiful thoughts and opinions that one can get really motivated seeing her enthusiasm .She plans to use her work experience ,love for writing ,communications and graphics eventually to address gender violence and the refugee crisis. Her dreams are full of compassion and kindness .
